That's a pretty crazy FLA stat..over a century since that last happened....and Uggla is only the 4th player w/ those numbers b/c most "rookies" debuted the year before in September I assume. I was with you on Michael Bush too, too bad now, that was a nasty break.

Well, until last night, I was ready to announce Louisville RB Michael Bush as the #1 RB in the NFL Draft. After rushing for over 100 yds and 3tds in the first half, Bush broke his leg in the early 3rd quarter. I think he should be fine for next year though, but his stock may drop a bit, as he would have been a contender for the Heisman.

Other RBs to watch for are Michigan's Mike Hart, Auburn's Kenny Irons, U of Miami's Tyrone Moss and Cal's Marshawn Lynch. I still believe Michael Bush will be a stud in the pros, reminding me a lot of a young Eddie George. It is just sad that his college career ends like this. At least Louisville beat the (-16) for my teaser!

If your league allows you to hold many players, forcing owners to draft rookies in the first round, there will be a few RB's to choose from. A lot depends on where these RB's go in the draft.

That being said, I would not trade Benson for a first round keeper pick. Jones is the starter this year, but the fututre is anyone's guess, and I doubt they will sit Benson next year. If Benson lands the starting job next year without a platoon, he will be a Top 10 back, probably even Top 5.

Randy - I'll let Jeff answer this one, as he follows college ball more closely than I do. He should get back to you shortly......With that said, will there be no NFL backs available? When you say keeper, your league keeps all the players for good? Or are they under contracts? And if so, would any decent backs be available with that pick in the first round?

Well if Chris Young could ever start fully taking advantage of calling Petco Park home he could challenge for the Cy Young......I've heard that before about the Indians and their adjusted standings....their problem is in one-run games, they were bad last year in those situations and continued the trend again this season.....they need a closer.
