Ha ha. Ya man, that artist rendering is sick. Seriously, I can't wait for that to open. So the site is only 12 miles from downtown San Jose? As exciting as that stadium looks, I'm equally as pumped to see what Beane can do with some money to spend finally.

I would pick up M. Jones, ya. I mean, there's only 3 regular season weeks left, and you don't want to sit on that #1 priority. It's doubtful there will be a better option than Jones in the next couple weeks. Despite the bad drops, I think he can be useful from here on out.

Oh, and in a move that amuses me to no end...the owner who rejected my A-Train offer, just dropped Matt Jones. Granted, this last weekend soured my projections for him, as Gerrard is really average, and they're going to lean on their running games. The 2 horrendous drops didn't help either. That being said, he's still worth the pickup, right? (Wilford got dropped too). I've got #1 waiver priority, but I'm not sure if I want to use it...

If Branch starts playing like the decent WR2 he's supposed to be and Holt returns from the realm of mediocrity (fewer points in his last 3 games combined than the one before), then I'll feel pretty good about Evans. I also anticipate Lundy being my flex for the stretch run.

On another note...have you seen the art for Cisco Field? I don't think artist's renderings have ever gotten me so excited...they look NICE!

Evans as a WR3 in a 14-team league is more than competent. My money is on Lundy being the best out of those three.

oh, and getting Andre Johnson in the 4th round is fantastic. I'd be doing better in both leagues if I had just traded my 1st round picks for 3rd round picks straight up.

Yup...Evans for A-Train just went through. I really could see this going either way, and I would have liked to use A-Train for this upcoming week. I just need one of the following to happen to be in good shape (complementing Gore and Addai): Lundy to fend off Gado, have the QB switch and general suckitude of the other RB's bring Lamont Jordan back to mediocrity, or have DeAngelo Williams displace Foster. I'll at least feel comfortable plugging Evans in as a WR3 in a 14 team league.

TV - I agree, going with young upside hasn't proven too fruitful this year, and I admit, I was a big proponent of nearly all of these young guys before the season started.

I think McNabb is still going to be big for you from here on out, don't give up on him, trust me.

You want to hear frustrating, I traded my first 2 rounds for the #2 overall pick (people criticized me for this at the time, but I was onto something...Think about it, owners of LT or LJ wouldn't trade either of them for someone else's entire team right now basically)...But I then dealt that #2 pick for the #3 and a fourth rounder....The #3 turned into Alexander when I was going to go LT #2....At least I turned the fourth rounder into Andre Johnson, but man would LT be nice. Alexander better come back healthy.

I have J. Jones in a league and can't stand watching M. Barber basically equal him in fantasy value....Agreed Keith, I expected more out of D. Williams too...Then again, I've been expecting more out of Maroney all year. Did you pull off the Evans deal?

This year has taught me one thing that I should have learned long ago...never ever draft players that are young just b/c you like their upside over established veterans.

Williams was basically a wasted pick in the 7th round when I (surprisingly) could have had either Gore or Deuce instead.

Jones was basically a wasted pick in the 5th round when I could have had Coles, Stallworth, Muhammed, or just about any other guy in the league since Jones has done nothing all year.

My three best picks early on were Bryant in the 11th round (way to get 42 whole yards receiving against the mighty Detroit defense this week), Winslow in the 10th (still a great pick up) and McNabb in the 6th (he has been pretty average to bad the last month).

Coupled with 8 of my 13 players having missed time due to injury...well you get the picture on how my season has gone so far.

Surprisingly Im looking pretty good right now with McNabb, Alexander (if he finally plays), Addai (Dillon to back up) Walker, Chambers and whoever has the best matchup as my 3rd receiver, Winslow, Vanderjact and Seattle's defense. Unfortunately it will probably take a major upset for me to have even a chance to make the playoffs.

"I'm kind of disappointed in myself that I played Tatum Bell as much as I did," Shanahan offered in a rare public admission of regret. "Even though he says he's healthy, I don't think he's as healthy as he says he is. I saw that in the game."

Maybe I'm again guilty of expecting too much, but I was hoping for a little bit more than 6 carries for 4 yards from DeAngelo Williams. I was sure that at least one, if not both, of Williams and Lendale White would be big in the 2nd half of the season...not looking likely at this point.

I really just wish they'd let Tatum sit out this week. I'm no Dr, but I'm pretty sure if he's got turf toe so bad he can't play one week, that it's pretty unlikely he'll be 100% one week later. Just a month ago I thought I was sitting pretty with Tatum and J. Jones, now I'm not comfortable playing either. The injury hurt, but I think Shanahan is the killer...having Mike starting one week, then inactive the next?

Roto, I was thinking the same thing, if Housh was out, Henry would probably be the way to go, but Evans is probably the safer bet...though not by much.

I don't know what to do with tatum bell. I've almost given up counting on anything out of him. Not sure if he or shanahan are more to blame. or maybe the injury, I guess.

If Houshmandzadeh had to miss time with his concussion, I would have recommended C. Henry. But it looks like Housh should be back, so I'm going with L. Evans...I know Losman has been extremely frustrating, but Buffalo's schedule is pretty favorable, and he's still getting targeted quite a bit. I do like C. Henry tho, but I give Evans the nod here.

Ya that's rough going w/ Gabriel over those other three, but who would've thought he'd just disappear in the NE offense.

Keith - What's up w/ Tatum Bell, he def. did look terrible. I wonder how close to 100 percent he truly is. Leinart isn't looking too great, but the bigger worry for Boldin owners is how often he looked Fitz' way...Bulger killed me this week too....I really wish C. henry caught that late TD.

One quick question: A-Train's performance seemed to finally help peak some interest around my league, and I've got one guys asking for him. He's got Chris Henry and Lee Evans...I'm not sure which one to make a play for; a good WR3 on a good passing offense (still can't believe that drop), or a WR1 on a horrible passing offense with a terrible QB. We get 1/2 pt for receptions, and 1pt/10yds, 14-team league. I've had and dropped Greg Jennings (actually drafted him), Furrey, and Chris Henry so the fact that Doug Gabriel has turned into such a disappointment (I picked up Reche Caldwell after his big game, but am not exactly ready to count on him for consistent production) is killing me. With Hasselbeck coming back soon, I really hope Branch steps up, and if Bulger and Holt can make up for their stinkers this week (which will cost me a "W" and 1st place if Caddy has a good game tonight), I should be in good shape.

Haha...I couldn't believe my eyes during that Dillon 50 yard run; Willie Parker would have lapped him twice!

I'm still angry about this weekend; watching Rhodes come back to get way more carries than I expected, Lamont Jordan unable to step up at all, Gabriel fumbling and getting benched, Boldin disappearing while Leinart worsens, T. Bell looking terrible, Barber taking almost all of the 2nd half carries from J.Jones...ugh. I had a team with Bulger/Holt goint against Favre/Driver, and figured I'd kill him in that department...I think he had a 50pt edge, and Favre didn't even turn the ball over! Even worse, I'd just made a Gabriel/A-Train offer to him, since he's a McGahee owner, and any chance of that being approved disappeared with that game.

I can't believe Chris Henry dropped that perfect pass at the end of the SD/Cin game...it was destined for OT at 49-49! I was starting to wish they had college OT rules so the final score could have ended up something like 96-94. I think that game could have gone on forever.

I can’t believe Chris Henry dropped that perfect pass at the end of the SD/Cin game…it was destined for OT at 49-49! I was starting to wish they had college OT rules so the final score could have ended up something like 96-94. I think that game could have gone on forever.
