Ya that Vick running less situation I find hard to believe, especially with Dunn and Norwood banged up. Although obviously this week's effort is cause for concern. I know exactly the T. Bell play you are talking about and coming from someone who was playing against him, I am grateful. That said, what was he thinking?! I thought he was gone for sure. Then again, I also thought Gore was gone for sure.

The most simple, yet far too often overlooked QB ability is accuracy, and Drew Brees is one of the most accurate (if not the most) QBs in the league.

I used to go to 9er games all the time, at least 3-4 per year, but haven't been for three years now, waiting on them to improve I guess. Alex Smith's play is officially worrisome. He's been in the system for two years now, and seems to be regressing. Someone needs to tell him it's OK to toss it out of bounds when he's throwing it away.

Well, when you can get 70 miles to the gallon with that hog, it's easy to redeem yourself.

On the "why didn't they say something BEFORE the fantasy playoff front", it's nice to hear that the Falcons don't want Vick to run so much any more. Umm, there's one reason Vick is a starter-worthy QB in fantasy, and it's not his harm. Also, can someone tell Tatum to not run out of bounds early, as 70+ yard touchdown runs are worth a lot more than 56-yard runs. Coupled with the neutering of Vick, and the less-than-inspiring play of TO and Bolding, that's one team eliminated from playoff contention (unless T.Jones puts up a goose-egg tonight). Funny how I lose the 2 games when Edge finally decides he wants to actually resemble an early-round pick.

I think the Titans' recent performance is one of the under-reported stories of the year. I mean, this team looked absolutely terrible, and now they're performing absolute miracles. Being a much more stats-oriented guy, I'm hesitant to ever mention intangibles, but I think that a lot goes into the QB position that we haven't quite figured out how to quantify. Drew Brees won't blow anyone away at a combine, but I'd take him on my team any day. Same for Vince young, and I won't even call for him to be converted into an RB yet.

I went to the 49ers game yesterday...ouch. First game in years, and what a disappointment. Alex Smith is getting worse before my very eyes. Nolan/Turner are calling plays to try and take advantage of these 8-9 man fronts that they're facing to stop Gore (who keeps beating them anyway!), and Alex Smith is throwing picks while guys are in single coverage and open. It's absolutely crushing. I like the aggressiveness of calling playaction on 3rd and 1, and defintely liked seeing V.Davis running open towards the sideline (he's going to be an absolute beast), but watching Smith's underthrown wobbler (if you're going to miss, miss long or to the sideline, not behind and short towards the middle of the field and the defense!), was just brutal.

At halftime, the rushing stats for the Jags two RB's were sick...each well over 100 yards in under 10 carries. I don't think anyone believes the Colts have a chance after that.
