Woods and it’s not even close. Federer can’t beat Nadal on clay, that should automatically take him out of these discussions.
If this was Tiger vs. Michael Phelps, now then I’d have a hard time picking.

no one watches tennis and everyone in sports saw those putts on Sat and Sunday and had their jaws drop…

Tiger beats Ditka for Christ’s sake. There has never been an athlete that has so throughly dominated a sport like Tiger Woods. It is really unbelievable and the crazy thing he will accomplish so much more.

Unlike Sampras, Federer is really good on clay. It’s just that Nadal is ridiculous on that surface.
But I agree here - Woods is playing the field, not a series of one-on-one matchups. Also, he can’t physically change other golfers’ play, whereas Federer does with every stroke.
